We recognise that mental health is a huge problem for society. 1 in 2 people will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime. Globally, one person dies from suicide every 40 seconds, that is 800,000 too many every year. One primary driver of mental health challenges is the inability to cope with the current environment. 3 in 5 people state not having enough time is having an impact on their health. These pressures prevent us from being present, connecting with each other and fully enjoying lives aligned with our values.
We believe the pace of the world is having an impact on us and it is getting worse. We live in the most technologically connected age in history, yet rates of loneliness have doubled since the 1980s.
In a fast paced world, The Timekeeper celebrates slowing down and aims to support people to build the life they want in the time they've got. We believe mindfulness and conscious use of time can help reduce mental health challenges. We focus on providing people with tools and knowledge to cope with the change around them.
1. We sell products that are catalysts for conversation and change
2. We donate 100% of profits to impact partners to help young people access programs and tools that develop skills for managing time and mental health
3. We share "Stories of Time" to breakdown stigma, celebrate vulnerability, and encourage people to support those around them
4. We hold events and workshops to raise awareness and promote knowledge on positive mental health
To help people live in the present, discover their purpose and feel connected to the world to lead more empowered lives.
"We aim to inspire a generation of young people to dedicate time to presence, purpose and connection"
